SPIRAL WINDER TR-2000/N The coiled monofilament dimension (major x minor axis) may be chosen according to the desired end use of the assembled mesh. The range of application for the spiral mesh conveyors is very wide and includes the paper in- dustry, foodstuff, and automobile industries and many other applications. The spiral mesh belt is also useful in the filtration industry as filter media for use in separation of solids and aggregates. The rotational coiling speed can be regulated in a variable speed motor from 0 to 2500 rpm, or via a 3-step-switch set on 1500, 2000 or 2500 rpm. The machine is equipped with pre-heaters to facilitate "high speed" production, and a spiral take-off that provides variable coil spacing in preparation for the joining/assembly on our semi-automatic AS-60 joining table. Incorporation of technologically advanced electronics and mechanical components help to make the "TR-2000/N" virtually maintenance-free. EQUIPMENT OPERATION: The monofilament is taken from the bobbin (Types: DIN 250, DIN 335, DIN 355) through the unwind arm and delivered through a pre-heater and then through a pre-tensioner spring into the eye of the winder head. If necessary, the monofilament can be coated with a lubricant (oil, silicon) prior to entering the winder head. The next stage; the monofilament passes through a secon- dary winding device and the monofilament is wound onto a fixed mandrel. This winding is performed by rotational motion with the winding device wrapping the monofila- ment side-by-side in circular motion onto a specially designed stainless steel mandrel. At this stage the monofilament is formed into a spiral/coil. The coiled monofilament is then passed through a two- zone infrared heating chamber for stabilization. After leaving this heat zone the monofilament enters the cooling zone and the thermally set spiral/coils with precise spacing comes off the mandrel assisted by a take-off motor and deposits itself into a container or tube for further pro- cessing into assembled spiral fabric construction. * Hot Air free shrinkage at 200°C WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENTS WITHOUT NOTICE.
